Located in Bali, Gunung Kawi has some of the oldest and largest monuments. There are about 10 shrines that are cut out of the rock face that resembles actual statues. There are also several holy springs in the vicinity of Gunung Kawi. From the main entrance, there is a stone-paved path that leads into a valley of the sacred Pakerisan river, with rice fields along the way.
