About this Place Of Interest

Tang Toh Kang was the first goldsmith set up in Chinatown, Bangkok. They first used the name ‘Tan Toh Kan’ before it was changed a few years later when all Chinese names were amended to suit the Thai pronunciation. On the top floor of this building, an area is reserved to display all the equipment used by traditional goldsmiths. There is also a display on the history of Tang Toh Kang as the first goldsmith in the area.
