As part of the National Museum of Singapore’s Life in Singapore: The Past 100 Years Gallery, Surviving Syonan displays images and artifacts that highlight the difficult living conditions during the Japanese Occupation. More importantly, the gallery is almost a tribute to the people of Singapore who coped under these conditions, spotlighting stories that demonstrate their courage and resilience in the face of adversity.
In this Learning Experience, you will learn how to plot a story along a 5-point plot diagram, and how to identify themes by looking at plot events and character responses. This LE is recommended for Year 1 students and above.
