Science comes to life at Petrosains, an interactive science centre where hands-on activities and games bring the fun back into learning. See, hear, smell, touch and play your way through various fields of science including outer space, dinosaurs, speed racing and petroleum mining. There’s lots of fun to be had for the entire family, with something to learn for curious visitors of all ages.

About this Learning Experience

In this Learning Experience (LE), learners will get to learn more about fossil fuels and the many creative ways they can be used in our daily lives! This Learning Experience incorporates the following updated curriculum emphases from the Hong Kong Science KLA curriculum guide: ✔ Nurturing students’ interest in science and related disciplines ✔ Emphasising students’ development of scientific thinking and problem solving skills ✔ Strengthening students’ ability to integrate and apply knowledge and skills (including hands-on skills) ✔ Fostering students’ sense of making informed judgements based on scientific evidence ✔ Nurturing students to become self-directed learners of science This Learning Experience is suitable for Lower Secondary Learners and above.
