Built as a tribute to Guan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy (known in Thai as Jao Mae Kuan Im), this shrine is just a short walk down from the more popular Wat Kalayanamit. Over the years, it has become part of the cultural heritage of Bangkok’s vibrant Chinatown district, warmly welcoming local and foreign worshippers and tourists alike.
