The Taming Sari Tower was opened to the public in April, 2008. Its name is adapted from the legendary Taming Sari keris , said to have belonged to Hang Tuah, a famous warrior of Melaka in the 15th century. The tower is 110 meters tall, with a glass cabin that can carry 66 visitors per ride. It revolves 360 degrees for seven minutes at 80 meters above sea level and provide a panoramic view of Melaka. In addition to the breathtaking view, there are souvenir shops, a cafe and a restaurant for visitors.
In this Learning Experience, student will learn about how the properties of Circle and Triangle can be implemented in construction planning. This Learning Experience is suitable for learners Year 2 and above. **IMPORTANT NOTE: This LE contains a time challenge. Student must read the ‘Time challenge preparation’ in the action phase before entering the tower, and complete all tasks within the boarding period of 7 minutes in the observation deck! If student fail to do so, this LE can’t be accomplished, so please be aware!**
