Aquaria KLCC is a world-class aquarium that showcases more than 5,000 animals and marine life from Malaysia and around the world [1]. Located strategically at the country’s “Golden Triangle”, the indoor marine park is seated on a 60,000 square foot space at the concourse level of Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Exhibits are spread over several main zones including the Evolution Zone, the Stream Zone, the Shipwreck Zone, the Deep Forest Zone; the Coast Zone, the Living Ocean Zone and the Weird and Wonderful Zone. The main attractions at Level 1 are the Piranha Tank and Electric Zone, both of which are located at the Evolution Zone. Meanwhile at Level 2, the 5.3m fresh water fish tube tank at the Deep Forest Zone and the 90-metre transparent tunnel at the Living Ocean Zone are the most impressive. At the tunnel, visitors are able to witness in close proximity various interesting marine life including Sand Tiger sharks, Giant Stingrays and sea turtles on a moving walkway. Aquaria KLCC also conducts feeding sessions daily and this once in a lifetime experience should not be missed.
