Standing protectively over the mountains of Vũng Tàu, Christ of Vung Tau is in fact the world’s third tallest statue of Jesus. Towering at over 104 feet, this little known marvel actually stands taller than Brazil’s Christ the Redeemer (99 feet), one of the Seven Wonders of the World [1]. Visitors are even allowed to climb the over 200 steps within the statue, walk along its arms, and enjoy a breathtaking view of the coast.
