About this Place Of Interest

Jurong Bird Park, which is the largest Bird Park in the Asia-Pacific region, was opened on 3rd January 1971. It is located at the base of Jurong Hill and is only a 30 minute drive from the city. It is a home to over 5000 birds of 400 species that come from around the world. This Bird Park is the first to provide a huge haven for 15% of the threatened species in the world. It follows the free-flight concept to resemble the natural habitat of the birds that hail all the way from South America, Australia and Southeast Asia. The Bird Park consists of various zones such as the Birds of prey, Dinosaur Descendants, Flamingo pool, Heliconia walk, Jungle Jewels, Parrot paradise and more. So, why not let your feet get swept off by the feathered beings and gain some memorable experiences!
