Wat Traimit has become an attraction due to its solid, almost pure gold Buddha statue in its main temple. Located near the cultural exchange point, Chinatown, this temple is always open for tourists to admire the details in its architecture. The tiered roof design is a symbol of Thai culture and can be seen in most temples all over Thailand. While the number is not fixed between each temple, we will see how arithmetic sequences can be used in determining the optimum number of tiers, tied to the cost of its construction.
This Learning Experience is best for students who have learned arithmetic sequences in Mathematics, generally from Secondary grade 4 onwards or any upper secondary level.
