The Fort Canning Park was used as the Headquarters of the Far East Command Centre and British Army Barracks [1] until the spread of World War II into the Asia Pacific in 1941. It continues the function as a fort for the Japanese military on its occupation in Singapore. Now, the park stands as recreational site where visitors can also explore the history with the existence of the well-kept remainings along the track.
