The Velangkanni Temple is actually a Catholic church in Indo-Moghul architecture, in Medan, Indonesia. Opened in 2005, it is devoted to the Lady of Vailankanni, a Saint apparition that appeared in the 17th century in Velankanni Town, Tamil Nadu. The main building comprises two storeys, while the adjacent tower reaches up to seven storeys. It is situated in Jalan Sakura III and is an important pilgrimage site in Asia.
