The Bund is Shanghai’s most famous waterfront and is widely regarded as the symbol of the city. Lined with quaint historical buildings, the Bund offers a window back in time to the golden age of Shanghai when it was the most important financial center in the Far East. Visitors strolling along the riverbank will also be treated to picture perfect sights of the modern skyscrapers in the Pudong District [1].
