The Dragon Bridge is a bridge with a dragon over the Han River at Danang. It is 666m long, 37.5m wide, and has 6 lanes for traffic. The bridge was opened to traffic on March 29, 2013, at a cost of approximately VND 1.5 trillion dong (1,500,000,000,000). The dragon can breathe both fire and water, with performances at 9pm every weekend or holiday.
In this learning experience, students will record the traffic passing through the Dragon Bridge using frequency tables. From there learners will interpret the data and analyze the bridge’s economic value. This LE is suitable for students in secondary 3 and above.
